Raphael Marcello Prado is focused on real estate transactions and has a strong background in negotiating new developments and available land, real estate mergers, debt negotiation and structured transactions involving urban and rural properties. He is broadly experienced in the legalization of real estate developments, financing contracts secured with real estate collateral, landholding regularization, leasing of rural properties and built-to-suit transactions.
Before joining the firm, Raphael worked for 12 years in large law firms and for 8 years held the position of Legal Manager in one of Brazil’s most traditional real estate developers, having been ranked for two consecutive years (2019 and 2020) by the magazine “Análise Advocacia 500” as one of Brazil’s most prestigious lawyers in his field.
Graduate student in Real Estate Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio); and has a law degree from Cândido Mendes University (2003).
