Leonidas Borio has expertise in national and international tax consulting and planning, built throughout a 30-year career. He began his career as a tax consultant at Arthur Andersen and later headed the Corporate Tax division in various companies such as Globo, British Petroleum (BP), and White Martins, where he led the tax, treasury, and controllership departments for the South American region for 14 years. Between 2022 and 2023, he oversaw projects in the United States related to energy transition through green and blue hydrogen production and carbon capture and
sequestration. In 2012, he was awarded the recognition of Corporate Tax Lawyer by the Latin America Corporate Counsel Association, and in 2013, his team received the same recognition. He holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a bachelor’s degree in law from Universidade Santa Úrsula.
